SEMA 2010: GM shows us its new "hot-rod"

GM is more alive than ever, and proof of this is the number of mechanical solutions it has just released, among them a new engine aimed at people who want to prepare their vehicle in a more or less skilful way.
This new unit, marketed as E-Rod LS3, is basically a V8 capable of producing no less than 315 CV, a really good solution that will reach the market at a price of €5,107.

Now, what has General Motors come up with to show this new engine to the public? Well, nothing less than fitting it into a 1955 Chevrolet pick-up. As a curiosity, the vehicle was built by Dynacorn this same year, but following the specifications of the 1955 model.
Without further ado, here is a full gallery of images of the vehicle displayed at the SEMA Show.
