SERES, the new electric car brand, arrives in Spain through Invicta Motor

The Chinese brand DFSK has recently launched the SERES 3, an electric car in the premium segment that seeks to carve out a place in the market with a fairly competitive price. But its ambitions go a step further, and it has decided that the model name should become a brand in its own right. For that reason, SERES has just been born, a brand specialised in the development, design and manufacture of electric cars.

This brand intends to keep creating electric cars and to market models that sit in that segment of the market, with quality and a price that is as competitive as possible. It will be sold worldwide, and in Spain it will arrive through the Grupo Invicta Motor. In this way, it will have a solid sales network and a quality customer service.

The SERES 3 has been on the market for a while and will soon receive an update. In addition to this model, a new model, the SERES 5, will be launched at the end of 2023. Both models feature a five-door SUV body and a contemporary design that attracts attention and offers an up-to-date image.

SERES 3

The SERES 3 measures 4.38 metres in length, 1.85 metres in width and 1.65 metres in height. With these dimensions, it can be used both in the city and on intercity journeys with the whole family. Passengers in the rear seats can travel comfortably.

As for technology, it features elements such as keyless start and seats upholstered in eco-leather, with electronic adjustment and heating. It also comes with a good number of ADAS systems, which improve safety while driving. Under the bonnet, there is a synchronous motor with a permanent magnet delivering 120 kW, equivalent to 163 CV, and a maximum torque of 195 Nm.

As for the battery, the SERES 3 offers a capacity of 56 kWh. With it, a range of 405 kilometres can be achieved. Charging from 20% to 80% takes just 30 minutes at a fast charging point. At an 11 kW charging station, charging time is 5 hours.

The SERES 3 has a price of 28,995 euros, once promotions and aid have been deducted.

SERES 5

In January, the brand announced the introduction in Spain of a new electric SUV, the SERES 5. It is slightly larger than the other model, reaching a length of 4.70 metres. On the exterior, buyers can choose from eight colours, while for the interior the buyer is offered five different colours. It also features good technological equipment and quality finishes, although it is not very eye-catching.

It will come in several versions, the most powerful of which features an output of 430 kW, equivalent to 585 CV. It will have two motors, one on each axle, and will offer a driving experience very close to that of a supercar. Its 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes just 3.7 seconds.

The semi-solid-state battery gives it a high energy density and allows for a good range, 530 kilometres in its top-of-the-range version.

From now on, Invicta Motors will be the company responsible for getting them to Spanish buyers, with good customer service.
