Sergio Scaglietti, one of the geniuses Ferrari has passed away
Yesterday a legendary man in automotive history passed away: Sergio Scaglietti, a designer we will all remember for works as legendary as the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa and 250 GTO

Unfortunately, today I have to be the bearer of bad news: yesterday one of the greatest geniuses the automotive industry has ever seen passed away, Sergio Scaglietti, a veteran aged 91 who died at 91 years old from sheer old age.
Specifically, this legendary figure in the world of Ferrari was one of the creators of several of the most famous Ferrari in the world, among them the 250 Testa Rossa (named for the color of its piston heads), the 250 GT California and the impressive 250 GTO, a vehicle for which he was responsible for the bodywork design.
As a brief summary of his career, it is worth highlighting how a young Sergio Scaglietti began as a promising youngster working as a simple coachbuilder for Ferrari, eventually earning internal promotions until he devoted himself exclusively to the development and design of racing cars.
