Seven special versions of Rolls-Royce for Abu Dhabi

Rolls-Royce’s special editions division has produced a special series of all the models destined exclusively for the Abu Dhabi market

A Rolls-Royce is a brand that builds impressive cars: production models that go beyond what other manufacturers offer. But while the production cars are remarkable, the models that come out of its special vehicles division, Rolls-Royce Bespoke, are cars of another level. Every so often they stand apart, giving the brand’s models a new style, even more impressive still. This is the case of these seven special versions, created for the Abu Dhabi market, which have become one-off pieces.

This market is the brand’s third most important and the one that moves the most money worldwide, so it is only natural that they should look to it for this kind of unique car. The series is called Wisdom Collection, meaning “Collection of Wisdom”, and it looks as imposing as what you are about to see in this image gallery. It consists of one version of each of the brand’s models, except for the Wraith, of which there are two units.

The first of them is a Phantom inspired by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, with a two-tone white body. Inside, you can see a complex and elaborate hand-embroidered design, which required 800 hours of work and 400,000 stitches to create the same special image found in this mosque. A Phantom Coupé recalls the strength of Qasr Al Hosn, using a bright blue and white tone, with gold detailing. The third special model is a Phantom Drophead Coupé inspired by the desert, with warm wine-red and white colours.

The Ghost saloon is based on the ancient trade routes and takes gold as its theme, representing the sand and white, with gold and yellow finishes. The Dawn convertible evokes the sea, using blue, beige and silver. As for the two Wraiths, the first is based on falconry, with an interior in red upholstery and gold finishes. The other is inspired by the Sheikh Zayed Bridge, in blue, combined with white and silver.

As usual, everything is handmade and with small details centred on the theme of each car. They have not been sold yet, but I am convinced they will become coveted pieces for the usual buyers of this type of vehicle.
