Skoda Kodiaq Scout: the off-road version of the trending SUV

The Czech manufacturer has unveiled a new version of its popular crossover, the Skoda Kodiaq Scout. This model will be presented at the Geneva International Motor Show between 7 and 19 March, and we will tell you about it at Highmotor almost live. During the event, Skoda will present the new variant of the Kodiaq along with a series of other premieres.
It will be available in two petrol and two diesel versions with power outputs between 150 and 190 CVThe design of the Skoda Kodiaq Scout accentuates the robust character of the original version. This model incorporates protections on the underbody and engine that allow for driving better suited to the countryside. Details such as the radiator grille and the silver-finished roof rails also stand out. The Skoda Kodiaq Scout features 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels designed specifically for this version. Like the standard model, the Scout offers up to seven seats and has one of the largest boots in its category.
As for the engines, the Kodiaq Scout will be offered with two petrol and two diesel engines whose power outputs will range between 150 and 190 CV. The entire engine range is paired with a four-wheel-drive system that has been optimised to increase the off-road capabilities of this model. The Kodiaq Scout incorporates an electronic self-locking differential that distributes torque to the rear wheels according to the vehicle’s grip conditions at any given moment. The traction control, meanwhile, allows greater wheel slip than the standard version to make off-road driving easier.

The interior of the Skoda Qodiak Scout is based on the Ambition trim and includes an off-road assistant and several driving modes, notably the inclusion of snow mode. This configuration allows adjustment of the engine map, traction control (ASR), anti-lock braking system (ABS) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
