Skoda Superb will present its renewal at the Shanghai Motor Show

Both the new Skoda Superb and the Superb Combi will be unveiled on 19 April at the opening of the Shanghai Motor Show. Both models have undergone an extensive restyling and new additions in technology and comfort.
The new Superb features a significantly wider grille, logo, headlights and fog lights, and an entirely new bumper and bonnet, meaning the front end has been completely redesigned up to the A-pillar. The rear has also been fully renewed, with a reinterpretation of the rear lights, further emphasising the brand’s characteristic C shape. This will be the first time the Superb’s rear lights feature an LED light bar design.
Inside the new Skoda Superb, the highlights are the new three- and four-spoke steering wheels in nine different variants. In addition, there are nine new seat upholstery options, as well as new designs. Cargo capacity is 595 litres in the saloon and 633 in the Combi.

The interior has plenty of storage spaces, including door pockets and a compartment under the front passenger seat. This also applies to the boot, which offers an optional double cargo floor, a lockable compartment, bag hooks, tie-down loops and optional cargo nets. The driver and passengers will also each have an umbrella stored in the door.
The comfort offering in the new Superb adds the latest-generation Automatic Parking Assistant, now available in both the saloon and the Combi. The new system works for both parallel and bay parking, including reverse parking, and assists with entering and exiting parking spaces. Among other options, we highlight the electric sunroof with integrated solar cells in the saloon and the panoramic electric sunroof in the Combi, the automatic locking and starting system, and four audio and navigation systems, the most advanced of which is Columbus with a 6.5-inch colour touchscreen and an integrated 30 GB hard drive.

The engines feature start-stop and kinetic energy recovery technology, which will come as standard on all diesel engines and also on the 1.4 TSI 125 PS petrol engine sold in Europe. The 2.0 TDI 140 hp diesel engine now includes a manual gearbox in the 4×4 version, and the 2.0 TDI 170 hp 4×4 is now paired with a six-speed DSG gearbox.
