Skoda now offers a range of specially designed accessories for all those who feel they cannot travel this summer without their pets. Safety is very important, even more so for dogs travelling in the rear seats, which in the event of an accident would be thrown forward against the front seats. For this reason, Skoda offers a seat belt accessory that can also be used as a harness for the dog.

This accessory attaches to the car’s seat belt at one end, and at the other it has a harness that keeps the dog secure in the event of a collision, yet gives it enough freedom of movement to settle comfortably. Another accessory that Skoda has presented in the area of pet safety is the removable cover for the rear seats. This accessory, more than a safety item, is considered practical for the car’s interior. It is large enough to cover the entire seat and floor area, preventing hair, dirt or mud from soaking into the upholstery or carpet.

This protective cover can be easily removed and washed for reuse, as it is water-resistant. Its surface is also non-slip, helping to keep your pet as still as possible in the event of an emergency stop. It is available for the entire Skoda range, from the Citigo to the Superb.

The next of the accessories that Skoda presents for these long road trips in search of calm, sun and the beach is a dividing grille that splits the boot into two sections, allowing one area to be set aside exclusively for the dog and the other for luggage of any kind. This accessory is available for the Fabia and the Superb Combi, given their estate body configuration. Finally, a reversible boot floor liner is optional for most Skoda models.
