Kia Motors Iberia presents a special edition called “Maracaná” to mark its sponsorship of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. This new limited series applies to the five-door Kia Cee’d and is based on the Drive trim.

In addition to the standard equipment of the Drive trim, this special series includes new components such as: an electrochromic interior rear-view mirror, a navigation system with parking assist camera (with 7 years of map updates), Color Package upholstery, light sensors, rain sensors and rear parking sensors. The only optional equipment available on the “Maracaná” special series is a sliding sunroof, at an extra price of 860 euros, and metallic paint which, depending on the taxes of the chosen engine, will cost an additional 451 euros.

This special edition offers three engines, as Kia inexplicably leaves out the 1.6 GDI 135 CV engine. In its petrol version we have the 1.4 CVVT 100 CV engine, while the diesel versions are the 1.4 CRDi WGT 90 CV engine and the 1.6 CRDi 128 CV engine.

These are their recommended final prices without discounts:

  • 1.4 CVVT 100 CV Maracaná 19,410 €
  • 1.4 CRDI 90 CV WGT Maracaná 20,555 €
  • 1.6 CRDI 128 CV Maracaná 22,195 €

To achieve a more affordable price, you would need to add significant promotions with large discounts from Kia Spain, as well as the Plan Pive.
