This special edition of the Vauxhall Tigra (known as the Opel for those of us on the continent) is called the Sport Rouge and made its debut last month at the Geneva Motor Show, the event where production plans for this car had already been announced.

The design of this convertible is the equivalent of the Opel Tigra Illusion and as such it is characterised by a fabric soft top in a colour that stands out against the rest of the car.

However, the Sport Rouge is available in four different exterior colours, and another notable difference from the Opel is its set of 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, it is worth noting that it comes with sports seats and a good distribution of electronic equipment, but nothing beyond the standard.

The car will be available with two petrol engines of 1.4L-1.8L and a 1.3L diesel engine. The starting selling price is said to be 19,700 euros, rising to 21,570 euros depending on the model chosen.
