Spotted Honda Civic with European specifications
A couple of weeks ago we noted that the new version of the Japanese saloon intended for the North American market would remain out of showrooms for one more year, so it was very unlikely that a test mule would be seen, yet surprisingly a Honda Civic with European specifications was recently spotted on the streets.
According to the images, the car will receive a new front bumper that should give the saloon a bigger stance, in addition to a taller bonnet and slightly wider rear wheel arches.
It is also noted that the wheelbase does not vary much from the current model, which indicates that the overall dimensions will remain largely unchanged.
On the other hand, the standard petrol and diesel engine range is expected to be available for the European market, and it has also been reported that the CR-Z’s hybrid setup could be present in the European Honda Civic, and even rumours suggest a three-cylinder engine as an option.
For now these are the only details known about the car, although analysts speculate that the saloon’s debut will take place after its American sibling has been presented to the public.
