Spy photos of the 2010 LaCrosse with little camouflage
Buick is finishing preparations for the new generation of its mid-size sedan, to be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, and judging by these latest spy photos of lightly camouflaged units, more than one person is going to be surprised and pleased with the final result, if they haven’t already seen the images from Car And Driver.
And it seems GM is starting to show it has learned its lesson, achieving with some of its latest models such as the new Cadillac CTS or Buick’s own Enclave the quality customers found in the competition, and which is now present in its products. The LaCrosse that will go on sale at the end of next year looks set to follow the same path and become another winning horse for the American group.
Looking at the exterior design, it’s clear it takes many features from the Invicta Concept that Buick presented at the Beijing Auto Show earlier this year, from the front end, through the shape of the windows, to the almost identical rear. The care taken with the interior is also striking, as is the quality of the wood and leather that adorn the elegant cabin.
As we told you earlier, the LaCrosse uses the Delta II platform shared with models such as the Opel Insignia, and in addition to the American version, it will have the obligatory variant for the Chinese market built by Shanghai Auto, since that is the region where the brand is currently earning the most profits.
