SSC Tuatara and the dream comeback

The title of this post may have left you a little open-mouthed, but that is precisely what the people in charge at SSC (Shelby Super Car) have achieved. As a good company in search of new opportunities, they decided to take their new supercar to Dubai in search of, at first, a representative to sell their high-performance sports cars.

Precisely because of this showing, SSC not only found a representative for its business in the Middle East, but also returned to its facilities in the United States with no fewer than 10 new buyers, which means that, besides having someone to sell its cars, it came back with almost 10 million euros under its arm.

Personally, I’m not entirely sure why we’re surprised, since according to SSC’s own promises, the Tuatara will be one of those hypercars with more than impressive performance. For that, nothing beats a 7.0-litre V8 capable of delivering 1,350 CV, no doubt very much to the taste of Dubai, the place where you can see the most BugattiVeyron per square metre.

Precisely thanks to these performance figures, and without forgetting that this data is provided by Shelby Super Car itself, the sports car you see in the picture is capable of accelerating from 0 to 320 km/h in just 16 seconds, while its top speed is estimated at an incredible 445 km/h, well above the 431 km/h homologated for the most powerful BugattiVeyron.
