Subaru Outback X-Break: 60th anniversary special edition of the brand
Subaru celebrates its 60th anniversary with a special edition exclusive to Japan. The Outback X-Break is the model chosen to mark this important milestone for the Japanese manufacturer.
The Outback X-Break is Subaru’s way of celebrating its 60th anniversary. It is a limited edition that will be available only in the Japanese market.

On the exterior, the model features very subtle updates, such as black window trims, black detailing on the front, several decorative plates on the rear and engraved lettering on the front doors. On the roof, there are black roof rails, which can be adjusted by hand.

The interior features new upholstery, more practical than in the standard version, combining materials resistant to liquids and synthetic leather. Yellow accents abound inside: embroidery on the doors, on the central console and even on the steering wheel, as well as on the gear lever.
Other cabin add-ons include a heated steering wheel wrapped in leather and a screen offering a wide range of colours with high display quality.

Another feature that has benefited from the improvements is the EyeSight driver assistance system. Specifically, the car now brakes earlier when detecting a possible collision, with greater anticipation, especially in front of a pedestrian or a cyclist.
Like similar models in the Legacy and Outback range, it comes with a single engine option: a 2.5-litre unit producing 173 CV and 235 Nm of torque. It features the standard Lineartronic CVT gearbox and Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD system.

Prices start from $30,500, or 28,500€, and production will be limited to Japan, with only a small number of units.
