SYM Joyride 300: a mid-size scooter that stands out for its versatility and price
The Taiwanese motorbike brand launches a new model, the Joyride 300, which offers 25.8 CV, a 5-year warranty and insurance for the first year included in the price

SYM, the Taiwanese scooter brand, has launched its latest model, the Joyride 300, which will undoubtedly be one of the brand’s most in-demand models, joining the mid-size and upper mid-size models it already offers on the market, such as the Maxsym TL 508, and the models renewed in 2021, the Maxsym 400 and Cruisym Alpha 300, leaving behind its predecessor, the Joyride Evo 200.
The Taiwanese brand’s new model is available at more than 100 Official Dealers across Spain for €5,199.00. It comes in 3 different colours, with blue, black and white in its range. The SYM brand is notable for its technical service and concern for the customer: the price of its motorbikes includes 5 years of warranty and free insurance during the first year, covering third-party liability, legal defence, theft and fire, with the option of upgrading to “Fully Comprehensive”.

4-stroke engine and 25.8 CV
The Joyride 300 is compact, agile, safe, versatile and an excellent option in terms of value for money. The scooter features a flat floor, a space under the seat for a full-face helmet and a front compartment, which make the scooter very practical for carrying items. It is ideal for getting around the city and the outskirts. Its 278 cc, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine delivers a maximum power of 25.8 CV at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 26 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
The 4-stroke engine it features is very powerful and has an instant throttle response. This is partly due to the liquid cooling and the 4 valves, which make it more efficient at delivering power. The SYM model meets the Euro 5 emissions standards and has low fuel consumption, which makes it even more attractive to buyers.

Equipment designed for maximum comfort
The equipment on the Joyride 300 is outstanding, with full LED lighting in the headlight, the position light, the rear light and the indicators. The instrumentation is digital, with a colour LCD screen that is easy to use and gives the rider a great deal of information. It also includes a rear luggage rack surface for fitting a top box quickly and easily, and a windscreen adjustable into two positions, improving aerodynamics and giving the rider greater comfort.
Safety is another standout feature, with a braking system that includes a 4-piston radial front caliper. The suspension is based on a 115 mm telescopic fork, a twin rear shock absorber with preload adjustable in five positions and, on the rear axle, a 260 mm floating disc. It also has a modern ABS system to ensure greater safety in emergency braking situations.

The Maxxis tyres it is fitted with have been designed specifically to give this model fast warm-up and greater durability; there is also a tread pattern that provides greater stability on dry and wet surfaces.
