Teaser of the next Renault model: a small SUV?

Renault has published teaser images and videos to give us a small idea of what its next production model will be. Early estimates, pending official confirmation, state that it will be a compact SUV built on the platform of the fourth-generation Renault Clio.

The French brand with the diamond logo will launch online, like other competitors’ models, on January 11 at 10:00 am a vehicle that, hopefully, will reach Spanish dealerships at the end of this year, although before that, at the Geneva Motor Show, we will have the chance to see it with our own eyes.

The photograph at the top of the article, the only one available so far, shows the significant similarities in both size and shape to the latest Renault Clio, a supermini launched only a few months ago. Both vehicles are expected to share mechanicals, although our protagonist could come with all-wheel drive as the top-of-the-range option.

We will have more details to share with you on Friday after the official online launch of the car. In the meantime, as always, we have to make do with a short video released by the brand, in which we can glimpse the headlights of the compact SUV.
