TechArt puts paddle shifters on your Porsche

As you well know, one of the quirks of the Porsche 911, Panamera, Cayman and Boxster is precisely that, being equipped with the magnificent PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox, these vehicles do not come with paddles behind the steering wheel to make shifting easier, as is the case with the vast majority of their rivals.

Instead, Porsche will fit your steering wheel with a kind of push buttons with which you can upshift and downshift, something that may not be the most suitable option for the purists of driving enjoyment.

Well then, although it may seem otherwise, many must have insisted to TechArt on a gearbox similar to this one, so today we can announce the preparer’s new “little gift“: new shift paddles mounted behind the steering wheel to replace this type of push buttons.

As with any TechArt treatment, it is not going to be very cheap. In fact, 700 euros + VAT will be the reason your Porsche 911, Panamera, Cayman or Boxster gets magnificent paddles behind the steering wheel instead of the typical push buttons.
