¡Tesla creates a surfboard!, the Tesla Surfboard
The latest from Tesla isn’t a car, but a surfboard. The technology company surprises us all with this curious news, in which the company bets on this popular water sport.
Like other car brands, especially those in the premium sector, Tesla sells other products unrelated to cars, such as jackets and accessories to promote its brand through fashion. Its new venture, however, is an absolutely beautiful surfboard, the Tesla Surfboard.

Tesla claims to have used components such as carbon fibre to create its new surfboard. There is no doubt that the board won’t be an ordinary one in the sector, but will have many advantages that set it apart, and one of them could be its weight.
The description of the Tesla surfboard on the brand’s official website reads as follows:
“Designed by Tesla Design Studio in collaboration with Lost Surfboards and Matt “Mayhem” Biolos, manufacturer of surfboards for World Surf League athletes. This limited edition surfboard features the same high-quality materials, in matte or glossy finishes, that are used in our cars. The board has been reinforced with “Black Dart” carbon fibre, very lightweight, inspired by the interior of our cars and featuring tonal logos that contrast with the gloss of the colour.”

Tesla states that all its vehicles, Model S, X and 3 can comfortably carry this board both on the outside and inside of the vehicle.
Its price, by the way, is not negligible, requiring an investment of €1,500 for this piece, which may be absolutely prohibitive for most people, and we will have to see whether it is justified beyond providing an exclusive board to its owner to show off both its design and the brand.

Tesla has stated that it plans to make a total of 200 boards, each made to measure at the buyer’s request. The fins will not be included, and shipping is planned to begin within a period of 2 to 10 weeks.
This surfboard is so far the only addition to the accessories section of Tesla, and also the most expensive one to date.
