The Abarth 695 Rivale is the most nautical option from the scorpion brand
Celebrating the 175th anniversary of the nautical brand Riva, the Abarth 695 Rivale marks the occasion with a special edition that will only have 350 units

The Abarth 695 has received a new special edition that brings together the scorpion brand with one of the leading manufacturers of luxury launches and other boats. It is the union of Abarth and Riva, materialized in the form of the Abarth 695 Rivale, a vehicle from the brand that draws on nautical inspiration, achieving a very attractive and interesting look. But both companies wanted to go a step further, and given that Riva turns 175 years old, they have created an even more special edition, called the Abarth 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary.
The model is available in saloon and convertible versions, so there is something for every taste when it comes to driving this car. The two-tone bodywork in Blu Sera Riva and Shark Grey is accompanied by a double aquamarine stripe that runs along the vehicle at waist height and recalls the “waterline” of yachts, adding the touch one would expect from a model based on Riva yachts.

That inspiration is also evident in the chrome door handles, together with the 695 Rivale lettering on the rear wings and the tailgate, where a chrome trim can also be found, helping to recall its nautical essence. Its look is meant to take us to the latest boat models built by Riva, since it shares several decorative elements with them, adapted to the shape and size of this small, powerful city car.
Under the bonnet sits a 1,368 cc engine, which delivers a considerable 280 CV together with a maximum torque of 250 Nm, with a total weight of 1,045 kg. This gives a power-to-weight ratio of 5.8 kg/CV, which brings it close to the figures of a supercar. These figures allow it to achieve an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 227 km/h.
The 695 Rivale 175 Anniversary offers more exclusive features and better materials. The wheels change, commemorative logos are added and the front seats are upholstered in black and blue. To make this version even more special, only 175 units of the saloon and 175 units of the convertible will be built. We do not yet know the prices of these models, but we are already eager to see them in action, right?
