The Alfa Romeo Giulia arrives in Spain and we already know its price

A few days ago we had a couple of news items about the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the car the Italian brand has just launched. One of them showed the first unit coming off the factory line, while the other told us that the Italian police had added several cars of this model to their fleet, to carry out special missions. Now we know that the first owner of this car is a businessman from Rome, who debuted his brand-new car this week.
What we already know about this jewel of the Italian brand, with which it will try to regain the crown it lost a few years ago, are the prices at which it can be bought in Spain, where it will be available in eight different versions. The entry-level version will be the Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.2 D, with 136 CV and a six-speed manual gearbox, which can be purchased for 33,150 euros, while the top version of the model will be the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2.9 V6 petrol with 510 CV and a manual gearbox, also six-speed, priced at 86,600 euros.

The aim of this model is to go head to head with rivals such as the Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series, so it is set up to match and surpass anything those have in their mechanics and equipment. The Guilia is built on the Georgio platform, the base used by the brand’s new models, and it has the feature of rear-wheel drive, although it can also be fitted with all-wheel drive when needed.
With this model, production of the seven new models that the brand wants to launch by 2018 begins, and with which it aims to reach 400,000 units sold in that year. A full effort to revive a brand that has a great deal to offer.
