The Batmobile has been fined!
The Russian police have fined a car that imitates the Batmobile for not being legal to drive on public roads. They’re not messing around, not even with Batman.
It’s no joke, the Russian police have fined a car that imitates the Batmobile to perfection. All because it doesn’t have the paperwork that allows it to be driven legally on public roads. It seems these Russians don’t mess around, not even if Batman is involved.
A fine, to say the least, a curious one
It’s not known whether “the Dark Knight” was behind the wheel, but what is clear is that the Russian police were not impressed by the astonishing model. In fact, as it wasn’t a car legal to drive on the road, they decided to impound it.

The traffic police took away the Batmobile on the past 22 February. Its driver was a 32-year-old young man from Moscow, and no, his name is not Bruce Wayne, although he could be in secret…

During the inspection, once the vehicle was impounded, the police realised that this customised vehicle did not have the necessary permit to drive on public roads.
Below we leave you a short video of the police operation against the Batmobile:
As a result, the Russian police have impounded the vehicle. The best part is seeing the tow truck drag the Batmobile away, could there be anything more offensive?. Of course, the driver has been heavily penalised for breaking traffic rules, and we assume the financial penalty will not be discreet…

Not much is known about this customised version of the Batmobile, however we know it went on sale last year for around €844,000. It also has a 502 CV 5.0-litre V8 engine and rear-wheel drive, as it could not be otherwise.

Unfortunately, and being a vehicle mainly for “show off”, it cannot exceed 100 kilometres per hour. It’s clear that Batman will have to talk to Mr Fox so he can make a couple of adjustments, since at that speed he won’t catch many villains… But first, he will have to wait for the police to return it.
