The Chevrolet Aveo for Europe is shown for the first time

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to drive a Chevrolet Aveo for the first time, and the truth is the experience turned out to be better than expected. After about 400 kilometres, the Aveo is not a spectacular saloon, but it offers ample interior space, it is a comfortable car to drive and the engine performs quite well. And speaking of the Aveo, GM has today shown us the new generation for Europe.

The car’s dimensions have not changed; only some bodywork details have. The light clusters have been modified and we will now have a pair of round lights, instead of the characteristic trapezoidal shape. The grille has been altered, losing GM’s distinctive “corporate” design, while the lower air intake has been updated with a new design of fog lights.

The engines will remain the same as before, except for the addition of a 1.3-litre common-rail turbo diesel engine. At the same time, a six-speed gearbox will be added to the Aveo range, although it is not yet known whether it will be on the saloon or the hatchback model.
