The Citroën AMI changes color and refreshes its look in mid-2024

Four years have passed since the launch of the Citroën AMI, and the time has come for this original vehicle, which has become a revolution in urban mobility, to get a change, even if it is only aesthetic. This change comes in the form of a new color, called Night Sepia, which keeps the original image and the model’s own style but with a fresh new look.

With this color, the brand wants to offer a more robust and attractive appearance, with more substance and strength. In this way, the new color replaces the traditional blue and offers a shade between grey and brown, so it will be different and once again attract the attention of potential buyers and keep it original for anyone who wants to get around the city.

This color has been designed to be visually compatible with the wide variety of stickers and colorful designs that can be added to the bodywork to personalize it. The brown color offers a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, depending on the decorative accessories chosen to personalize the bodywork.

This version joins the rest of the available versions, from the entry-level version and the My Ami Orange, Grey and Blue versions of the mid-range. It features a black band under the windscreen, with acid-yellow vertical elements that give it a bolder image. The headlight surrounds are black and it has several elements to give it a more dynamic look.

The rear spoiler, together with the four wheel trims with white decoration, two stickers on the rear quarter panel and two more stickers on the door sills help enhance this bolder look.

Inside, it has a smartphone holder, nets for storing items in the doors, a net to separate the two spaces and three additional storage compartments in orange, adding practicality to the cabin. Thanks to the “My Connect Box” app, the user can check all the vehicle data, such as battery charge level, mileage and maintenance alerts, among other things.

Another very useful application is “My Ami Play“, which connects the navigation, music and calling functions to the AMI and can be managed via the Citroën Switch button on the steering wheel.

New trim levels

Although the mechanical setup remains the same, the range of trim levels has been renewed. The former Tonic and Pop trim levels have been merged, giving rise to the new Peps version. It features a more interesting style, with several contrasts based on touches of color, original graphics and accessories to make everyday use more practical.

As for the Cargo version, intended for last-mile parcel delivery, it has also received interesting changes. The Cargo Kit module has been introduced, allowing it to be used for this service without sacrificing the passenger seat. This module can be deployed to remove the passenger seat, but if it is not needed, the seat can be used without any problems.
