The Citroën DS receives improvements in fuel consumption and emissions

Citroën has introduced some changes to the engines of the DS family to improve fuel consumption and emissions. In most cases the new engine delivers more power with lower consumption and lower emissions. The improvements have reached all the variants in the range, the DS3, DS4 and DS5.
For the DS3, the e-HDi 110 engine, which produced 111 hp, has been improved and now offers a slight power increase of 3 hp, with the same consumption of 3.8 L/100 km. The THP 155 variant has also received internal improvements that have benefited its consumption figures, which now stand at 5.8 l/100 km. In this engine, emissions have also improved, now standing at 135 g/km.
The DS4 will also receive the improved DS3 e-HDi engine, with a power output of 114 hp and consumption of 4.4 L/100 km. For the DS5, only the Hybrid4 versions have received changes aimed at reducing consumption, with figures of 3.4 l/100 km.
These new improved models in the DS range will have prices in Spain of 15,330 euros for the Citroën DS3 in its Design VTI 82 variant, while the entry-level DS4, the Design VTI 120, is sold for 21,250 euros. The hybrid variants of the DS5 start at 36,140 euros for the Hybrid4 Design.
