The CUPRA Born in its 204 CV version can now be ordered in Spain, and this is its price

The new CUPRA Born is now a reality, and the brand with Spanish roots can now say that its lineup includes a fully electric model, for which orders are already being accepted in our country, and whose standard equipment has also been revealed. Furthermore, with its arrival at dealerships, we will be able to enjoy a special “Launch Edition” with extended equipment.

Despite being a compact model, the CUPRA Born radiates sportiness from every angle, and just looking at it from the outside, we can see it is a car with a unique personality. This is achieved through design elements such as its sharp LED front headlights, large air intakes, and prominent lines on the bonnet and rear, where there is also a spoiler with side fins in a different colour, as well as the rear diffuser.

The CUPRA Born is the first model from the brand to make use of fully sustainable materials alongside recycled ones, such as the upholstery for the bucket-type seats sourced from the SEQUAL initiative, which uses recycled materials derived from plastics collected from the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, the CUPRA Born stands out for its extensive standard equipment, which includes elements such as:

Mechanically, the new CUPRA Born is offered with an electric motor delivering a power of 204 CV, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. It also features a high-performance lithium-ion battery pack with a net capacity of 58 kWh, which translates into a range of 424 km. Once depleted, the battery can be recharged using the mode 2 and mode 3 cables included as standard, reaching 80% of its capacity in about 35 minutes.

In Spain, the new CUPRA Born will have a starting price of 38,610 euros, while the special launch edition will cost 43,370 euros. It should be remembered that, at these prices, we must deduct 1,210 euros from the brand and, if we opt for the MOVES III Plan, a further 7,000 euros.
