The Delta Lancia receives a slight facelift for 2014

The 2014 model year will bring new features to the range of the Lancia Delta, which will receive minor cosmetic modifications to keep it relevant. These new features will be presented next month, when this new edition goes on sale at a starting price of €22,950 for the Italian market.

The design has covered the front, with new bumpers, as well as the addition of side skirts that are rather discreet yet eye-catching, along with a dual exhaust outlet that now stands out at the rear.

Inside, the changes are even more understated. The new details include new tones and finishes in the cabin layout, with a predominance of glossy black or “crystal” combined with the characteristic matt black.

There will also be variations of the available versions, at least as far as has been shown for the Italian model. The range will start with the Iron trim, which offers air conditioning and a multimedia system with CD radio and MP3 file player.

The second trim level will be the Silver, which has a little more equipment: in addition to what the Iron has, it adds a leather steering wheel, seats with mixed cloth and Alcantara upholstery, dual-zone climate control, tinted glass and the Blue&Me connectivity, information and entertainment system. The top level will be the Gold, with perforated seats and leather detailing, armrests for the rear seats, rear parking sensors and 17-inch alloy wheels.
