The DS 9 MY 23 updates its equipment and trim levels to offer a better experience
From May 2023 onwards, an update to the DS 9 will go on sale, featuring better equipment and a more luxurious finish than the current version.

2023 has welcomed an update to the equipment and trim levels. With this renewal of the model, there is an improvement in terms of technological equipment, and the cabin is more attractive and luxurious, even though it was already quite good.
Among the equipment found in the cabin we can find the new DS IRIS SYSTEM multimedia system. It features a more attractive interface, with a new design, configurable and with a large number of setting options. In addition, it can be operated using the IRIS voice recognition system. All of this is controlled through a 12-inch screen.

The multimedia touchscreen is set up with widgets, which allow access to the vehicle’s various systems in a very intuitive and easy-to-use way. In addition to controlling the air conditioning and the rest of the systems, it allows a 360º image captured by the cameras installed around the bodywork to be displayed. It also offers compatibility with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Mirror Screen. This can be done via WiFi or through the two USB ports.

The Connected Navigation browser is also present in the system and shows the best route to reach the destination. Through it, you can also find the location of petrol stations, the price of fuel at them, charging points and the availability of parking spaces.
The smartphone is a good ally of the DS IRIS SYSTEM, as it is connected to it through the MyDS app. With it, you can send a destination to the car’s system, control the car’s temperature before getting in, check the charge level and many other functions that can be controlled remotely.

A new trim level
The OPERA trim level completes the DS 9 range, joining the PERFOMANCE LINE + and RIVOLI + versions. The OPERA interior comes in three colour options: Opéra Rouge Rubis, Opéra Black Basalt, Opéra Gris Pearl. It is combined with Nappa leather with the DS logo embossed in several places inside.
Another interior trim level is the Esprit de Voyage. It offers a refined finish with light leather and other elements that elevate the category offered by the DS 9. The E-Tense 250 version will feature 19-inch Chambord wheels. The E-Tense 4×4 360 version keeps the 20-inch wheels, fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
In the case of the DS 9 MY 23 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE, buyers can choose from four colours: Crystal Pearl, Midnight Blue, Platinium Grey and Black Perla Nera.
Engines of the DS 9
The engines offered by the DS 9 M.Y. 23 are two, both plug-in hybrids. The DS 9 E-Tense 4×4 360 offers a plug-in hybrid system made up of a four-cylinder combustion engine working together with two electric motors: one of 110 CV coupled to the gearbox and another of 113 CV on the rear axle.
These engines are powered by energy stored in a 15.6 kWh battery. This gives it a range of 65 kilometres and a top speed of 250 km/h, although in electric mode it can reach 140 km/h. The model with two electric motors has a consumption of 1.5 litres/100 km and emissions of 35 g/km, according to the WLTP cycle.
The variant with a single electric motor and the same battery can cover 85 kilometres in electric mode on the urban cycle or 75 kilometres on the combined cycle. This update to the DS9 will be available in all versions in all markets where the brand operates from this May.
