One of the two original cars from the film Gone in 60 Seconds that are in private hands is for sale.

If there is one vehicle you will surely know and adore, it is the star of Gone in 60 Seconds, a beautiful Ford 1973 Mustang Mach 1 that simply managed to captivate us thanks to some truly stunning sequences. Well, the time has come for you to get your hands on one, and this time we are by no means talking about replicas.

For the filming of the movie, the production company decided to build a total of 12 units, of which 5 met their end during the shoot of the film, so only 7 units remain on the market, exactly the same as the one you see on screen, and at the time it became famous after the filming of this successful and excellent film.

On the other hand, of the seven only two are in private hands, so buying the vehicle may be considered an investment that could appreciate in value in a short time. As a detail, the car for sale is specifically number 7, and with its purchase you will receive a certificate of authenticity.

Mechanically, we find a vehicle that required more than 2,000 hours of labour to achieve that incredible appearance. But it was not only its looks that won us over. For example, the standard V8 was replaced by a larger-displacement V8 bought from Ford Racing, four Webber carburettors, a Tremec T5 transmission, Schmidt wheels, Wilwood brakes… enough to deliver and control a huge 500 horsepower, not counting the extra power from nitrous oxide
