The Ferrari Roma can now be seen in a video

The Ferrari Roma, the latest model from the famous Italian manufacturer, can already be seen in action in this impressive video shared by the brand…

On December 19th, the Ferrari Roma was unveiled in the Italian capital, surrounded by all the luxury and prestige that characterises the manufacturer. A few days later, and in case it had felt a little short, the manufacturer has now shared the official video of the model on social media.

The video shows a purest James Bond-style touch. Surrounded by the city of Rome, these two protagonists are stirring passions in the Italian capital. This is no surprise, since the car looks absolutely spectacular, and this time its lines are, in our view, the most elegant on a Ferrari model in a long time.

The video also lets you hear the roar of its 3.9-litre V8 engine, which produces a powerful 620 CV. It is true that it lacks the characteristic sound to which the brand’s V12s had accustomed us, yet they have once again found a way to stand apart in this respect too, because the truth is it does not sound like a typical V8.

One of the brand’s goals with the Roma is to give the model a much more GT approach, moving a little away from track-focused characteristics and bringing comfort, smoothness and beauty to the driving experience.

The video makes it clear, where the Roma seems to be the object of envy of all Romans… Perhaps in this respect they have gone a little too far, although in the end it is a guarantee that this beautiful sports car will make heads turn.

The Ferrari Roma is particularly different from the Portofino in several respects. To begin with, we are looking at a coupé with generous interior space where it is possible to travel in the rear seats, an aspect that once again demonstrates the GT focus that Ferrari is trying to give it.

Inside we can also find new features, such as the three digital screens, which account for the vast majority of the changes.

The most notable change, however, lies in its new 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which also derives from the new Ferrari SF90 Stradale.

This beautiful sports car is capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and to 200 in 9.3. Its top speed is limited to 320 km/h, more than enough for a GT. Sales get under way in the first quarter of 2020.
