The Fiat 600 of the future: design study

Beyond an undeniable talent for the art of design, the designer’s task is not only about knowing how to capture an idea in the best possible way, but also about getting the tastes of the hypothetical customers of the model right, something that in this case has not been achieved.
This futuristic Fiat 600 is the successor to an earlier project by a designer named Aldo Cerri, which expresses his idea of a “600” of the future. The idea first emerged in 2004, when the first sketches of the concept were made. I must say that from that one to this one there is a fairly large difference, as you can see from the images.
Which one do you like best? I prefer the previous model (bottom photo) to the new one. The new model may be more “effective” from a design standpoint, but cars also win people over through their looks.
