The Fiat Freemont arrives in Spain this Saturday

The Italian brand has released details about the equipment and the prices of its particular version of the Dodge Journey, since this brand will disappear from our continent. We have already broken down its details earlier, and now it is time to highlight the more specific aspects with which it will go on sale in the Spanish market, where it will likely benefit from the fact that it is already a known and accepted model.

To begin with, an important though logical novelty is that in our country the Fiat Freemont will not be sold with the 3.6 V6 Pentastar petrol engine of 276 CV; it will only be offered with the two variants of 140 and 170 horsepower from the second-generation 2.0 Multijet turbodiesel engine. When sales begin, both will send their power to the front wheels through a manual gearbox, but soon an optional all-wheel drive paired with an automatic gearbox will be added for the more powerful engine.

The Freemont can be ordered in two trims. The most basic will keep the model name and include as standard features such as stability control with Hill Holder and rollover protection, 6 airbags, tri-zone automatic climate control, radio/CD/MP3 with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, keyless entry and seven seats.

The top-spec version will be the Urbanfiat-freemont.jpg, which comes with Bluetooth, light sensor, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear parking sensors, electric driver’s seat and electrically folding mirrors, among other extras. The starting price of the first trim with the 140 CV engine is 24,450 euros, and the second is 1,100 euros more expensive, in both cases including the launch promotion. If the 170 CV unit is chosen, prices start at 26,900 euros including the discount.
