The first 100% electric car from Bentley will arrive before 2025
The CEO of Bentley has confirmed that they are working on the brand’s first 100% electric vehicle, which will reach the market before the year 2025.
Bentley was the first luxury car brand to introduce a crossover to the market with these characteristics, and it seems they intend to also be the first to do the same within this exclusive market when it comes to electric cars.

The company’s CEO, Adrian Hallmark, has confirmed the unveiling of a new plan involving the development of a 100% electric and extremely luxurious car.
Although Hallmark did not go into detail, he shared these statements:
The future of technology in the automotive world is closely linked to electric power, which is why our intention is to invest and take the right steps in this direction so we can offer this type of technology in our models.
Hallmark went so far as to admit that the company is currently debating the construction of its first electric vehicle, which will reach the market before the year 2025.
Although no details about its operation are known, it is believed it will use the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which is developed by Audi and Porsche. The first vehicles based on this architecture will be launched on the market starting in 2021.
Bentley is not a complete newcomer to electric vehicle development; in fact, the company announced the EXP 12-speed 6e concept at the last Geneva Motor Show.

Although Bentley has been very careful with its statements, it has suggested that its first electric vehicle could feature a high-speed inductive charging system with enough range for long journeys.
The company has not revealed any figures, but it has confirmed that customers can expect to travel from London to Paris or even to Monaco on a single charge.
To give you an idea, the total distance between London and Paris is 456 kilometres, and from London to Monaco about 1000 kilometres, so we can say these are very optimistic statements, which can only be proven once the model is finished.
