The first electric Abarth 500 is revealed in leaked images
The long-awaited electric version of the Abarth 500 has just been leaked ahead of its presentation on 22 November, with its final design now fully revealed

Following the recent arrival of the new features for 2023 in the Abarth 595 and 695 range, the most anticipated model from the Scorpion brand, the fully electric Abarth 500, has just been leaked ahead of its official presentation, an event the brand itself has scheduled for Tuesday 22 November.
The leak, carried out at the brand’s own facilities, finally shows us the sportier version of the Fiat 500 electric, featuring a genuinely refreshed design and the sporty character typical of Scorpion-badged models.
According to what we have been able to see in these leaks, the front of the electric Abarth 500 features a new bumper with a very sporty look, a small honeycomb-style cooling intake in the lower section, a sport splitter in a different colour from the bodywork, and light units with the compact’s characteristic round shape, which are identical to those of the standard electric Fiat 500.

Changed, but keeping its essence
From the side profile, the spied electric 500 features a grey stripe running along its lower section with “Abarth” as the main feature, sportier side skirts, wing mirror housings painted in dark metallic grey and, finally, 10-spoke alloy wheels of new design in a two-tone finish, with a large scorpion on the central cap, which complete the fun and eye-catching look of the new model.
In the leaked images we could not see any detail of the rear, although just as with the front, it is most likely to feature a sportier bumper, a rear spoiler and even a small diffuser. What we will obviously lose, however, are the exhaust pipes that stand out so much on the combustion version.
That said, we now just have to wait for Abarth to officially present its big launch on the 22nd, including its technical details, interior and full design.
