The first Pagani Zonda R Evolution ready for delivery

Impressive. It is the least that can be said about the Pagani Zonda R Evolution, a model that is an evolution of the most recent Zonda R, as its name suggests. The Italian super marque is back in form and once again leaves us breathless before the beauty of this sports car.

The photos were taken as the Zonda R Evolution was loaded onto the truck, bound for its new and delighted owner, who had to pay close to 1.76 million euros for it. Only four more examples of this model will be built, and they appear to have already been reserved, and this is the first one to be delivered.

The changes that improve on the previous Zonda R focus on the V12 engine, which delivers 800 hp, along with a stricter diet to achieve a lower final weight and new aerodynamic elements.

With all these changes, what will driving this beast be like? That it will be an indescribable experience is beyond doubt, but considering the improvements in this evolution, one can expect it to lap the Nürburgring even faster than the 6 minutes and 47 seconds achieved by the preceding model on the German circuit. It will be a matter of whether any of the 5 lucky buyers of a Zonda R Evolution dares to try it on a racetrack.
