The first teaser for Fast & Furious 9 is already here

After a long wait and with an installment that had nothing to do with Dom Toretto’s “family”, we will be able to enjoy the new installment of Fast & Furious 9 in the summer months. The first teaser arrives in a few days. Are you going to miss it?

The next installment of the Fast & Furious film saga will show Dominic Toretto as a family man. In the new preview of the ninth installment of the main series Fast & Furious 9 (the installment titled Hobbes & Shaw is not included), things seem to have slowed down for Dom Toretto, played by actor Vin Diesel.

He is a family man now, as we could see in the trailer, where he is teaching his son to start an old tractor and tucking him into bed. But if we know anything about the Fast & Furious franchise, it’s that his current quiet life won’t last long.

New adventures for the Fast & Furious family

We will get the full trailer in the coming days, but we expect the new image, for now known as Fast 9, to feature high-speed action and absurd stunts. For now, however, we are not sure which heroes will be involved. All we see in this preview is Dom’s Dodge Charger, out of use in a dimly lit barn. Letty, played by Michelle Rodríguez, is still with him, but the rest of the regular team is not shown in the teaser.

We will have to wait a few more weeks to learn more details about the ninth installment of Fast & Furious, but many big names, such as Cardi B and Michael Rooker, will appear in the film when it opens this summer. Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron will also appear, reprising their roles from The Fate of the Furious. As for the cars, Car and Driver found Instagram posts showing an orange 2020 Toyota GR Supra and a black Dodge Charger with a supercharged engine mounted in the middle.

We suspect these are updated versions of Toretto’s Charger and the orange Toyota Supra of Brian O’Conner, played by the late actor Paul Walker, but we will learn more as the film’s release approaches.

In addition, everything points to the directors having already chosen the movie poster that will be seen in the cinema billboards around the world. Could this be it?
