The GM plant in Figueruelas builds its 10.5 millionth unit

The Figueruelas plant has seen the production output of its 10.5 millionth car, and that honour has fallen to a Opel Corsa from the new special edition Color Edition 1.2 in Magma Red. The Corsa line is produced in Spain alongside the second generation of the Opel Meriva and the commercial vehicle Opel Combo.
It is worth mentioning that the Figueruelas plant is one of the most modern in Europe and a basic pillar of Aragon’s economy, given its economic volume, number of employees and the supplier industry that has grown up around it.
Recently, the Opel plant in Figueruelas held an open day for all its employees, their families and friends, which drew around 22,000 visitors. The event was held to celebrate the successful launch of the new Opel Meriva in Spain.
Congratulations to GM and to the successful track record of the Figueruelas factory, another milestone in automotive production in Spain.
