Hyundai IONIQ 6 Sedans Electric Cars
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 reveals its face
The long-awaited IONIQ family has just been officially unveiled with a truly modern, avant-garde design and a drag coefficient (Cx) of 0.21

After several months of teasers and images released as a preview, the Korean brand has officially presented its new Hyundai IONIQ 6, the most aerodynamic variant of the brand’s 100% electric family, which arrives with a very modern and aerodynamic design.
The new model is inspired by the electric prototype called Prophecy and is based on what Hyundai designers describe as Emotional Efficiency, combining an aerodynamic and electrified concept with a cabin that wraps its occupants in technology.
As for its exterior design, as previously announced, it is based mainly on the purity of its lines with the aim of achieving the greatest possible energy efficiency, using sustainable materials. Inside, as on the outside, this same approach has been maintained, while making a great effort to maximise and optimise interior space in both the front and rear seats.

Aerodynamic, elegant and versatile
The new IONIQ 6 boasts a Cx of 0.21, thanks to its low front end, the front spoilers, the aerodynamic design of its wheel arches, digital mirrors and an elliptical rear spoiler of the winglet type. Its aerodynamic focus is not only reflected in its exterior: underneath the car, its underbody, the reflectors and a reduced distance between the wheel arches also contribute.
Another of its standout elements is its lighting units, as the IONIQ 6 integrates more than 700 pixels in its front headlights, rear lights, lower front sensors, air outlet decorations and the centre console indicator.

Spaciousness and technology in abundance
By using the group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), designers were able to lengthen the interior, achieving optimised legroom and a completely flat floor that contributes to this sense of spaciousness.
As for its technological features, the IONIQ 6’s instrument cluster is fully digital and measures 12 inches, as does its touchscreen infotainment system display.
For now, Hyundai has not released data on the propulsion system or the IONIQ 6’s batteries, so we will have to wait for the coming days of July, when the brand will reveal all the vehicle’s specifications, including its features and the advanced technologies of the new model.
