Hyundai Nexo Coches hidrógeno SUV
The Hyundai Nexo will become an SUV with a range of more than 1,000 kilometres
The new generation of the Hyundai Nexo could offer more than 1,000 kilometres of range on a single charge.

The Hyundai Nexo is being updated. The hydrogen fuel cell model will increase its range to 1,000 kilometres, and its bodywork will evolve into an SUV. In case you didn’t know, the Nexo is one of the few vehicles currently sold with a hydrogen fuel cell.
The images were leaked on Twitter, but for now the brand has not confirmed that they are real. The truth is that they fit perfectly with the current design of Hyundai, but we will have to wait a little longer to know whether this is officially the new Hyundai Nexo.
This is how the renewed Hyundai Nexo could look
As the images show, the new Nexo is evolving in line with the rest of the manufacturer’s range. In fact, some of its lines recall the Hyundai Ioniq 7, a concept that has not yet been presented. The Hyundai Nexo could now be much sportier and more dynamic thanks to its aggressive lines.
It is true that hydrogen infrastructure is still very limited, which is why the model does not achieve large sales figures, just like the Toyota Mirai. The current Hyundai Nexo is an SUV that, in terms of dimensions, can be considered a segment D SUV. It measures 4.67 metres long (one centimetre more than a Mercedes-Benz GLC), 1.86 metres wide and 1.64 metres high. Technically, the model relies on an electric motor with 120 kW of power (163 CV), a hydrogen tank with a capacity of 156.6 litres, and a 1.56 kWh battery.

These figures should improve with the arrival of the new generation of the Hyundai Nexo. We believe so because, according to the leaks, it will offer a range of more than 1,000 kilometres. The power will have to keep pace, since the whole vehicle will weigh almost two tonnes. “As Hyundai has not yet officially spoken about the generational change of the model, an official presentation is not to be expected this year, barring a surprise.” We will have to wait to find out whether this is a genuine leak or just rumours.
