Skoda reveals the cabin of the Vision E electric concept. Today we can see its interior, which also offers a very futuristic look.

The Skoda Vision E is a concept presented just a few days ago, in which Skoda previewed the lines of its future design language.

Today we can see its interior, where the change compared with current production models is also very evident.

Electric mobility has started to be more than a priority for the VW Group. Proof of this is the number of developments of this type of vehicle, each time less distant from one another, within the brands that make up this global automotive giant.

However, to this day only Volkswagen itself offers a 100% electric model, and only the aforementioned VW and Audi have plug-in hybrid models in their range, with an electric-mode range that barely exceeds 50 kilometres, which is rather limited considering the pace at which these technologies are advancing.

Skoda has already announced that its first approach to electric mobility will arrive in 2019, the year in which a plug-in hybrid variant will be added to the range of its largest saloon, the Superb. Later on, until 2025, its offer will be expanded with models from other segments, which will also adopt this technology.

The Vision E, for its part, is more than a design exercise. This prototype previews the lines of the brand’s future design language, both on the exterior and in the cabin, which we can see today. This model now shows its interior, though only as a sketch, with lines that set it apart from the current creations of the Czech firm.

The interior of the Vision E keeps two qualities of any Skoda intact: its spaciousness and its boot capacity. This prototype is no exception, although, as is logical, its look differs from that of a production car. The lines are fluid and there are barely any physical buttons, leaving everything to two large screens, a clear nod to digital instrumentation and advanced infotainment systems.

For its part, the four individual seats of the Vision E are set somewhat higher than normal, which, together with the absence of a centre tunnel and the possibility of rotating them by up to 20º to make getting in and out easier, makes the interior of the Vision E one of the most pleasant of the moment, thanks also to the presence of individual screens for each passenger.
