The Jaguar XFR confirms its wagon version

At this point, what are you afraid of? If Jaguar has had the audacity to release diesel models, why wouldn’t it be capable of producing another wagon? The R version of the XF Wagon has been confirmed by the boys from Coventry, and it will keep company with the R version of the saloon.

Ian Callum personally confirmed the news in an interview with a German publication. It was confirmed that it will use the same five-litre V8 engine as the saloon, and that it will go head-to-head with the Audi S6 Avant and the Mercedes E63.

Callum himself has let slip that the XFR Estate’s strongest appeal will be its styling, it won’t even be the most spacious model, since it is not a completely new design meant to dazzle many, but rather to dazzle the drivers of the German models mentioned above.

But don’t get your hopes up that the XFR Estate will arrive right away, since it seems nearly two years will pass before we can see it in person.
