The Jeep Wrangler has for decades been synonymous with adventure and off-road capability. Now, with the introduction of plug-in hybrid 4xe technology, this legendary vehicle is reinvented to offer an even more versatile and sustainable experience. With a starting price of €78,818, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe not only keeps alive the “Go anywhere, do everything” spirit of the original Jeep Willys, but adapts it to the demands of the 21st century while retaining all its outstanding off-road equipment.

A perfect fusion of design and technology

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe combines the iconic rugged design of the Wrangler with several technological improvements that enhance both its on-road performance and its off-road capabilities. This plug-in hybrid version features a combined power of 380 CV and a torque of 637 Nm, allowing it to deliver four-wheel drive in “zero emissions” mode.

With an electric range exceeding 50 km in urban driving, the Wrangler 4xe is ideal for daily use in the city, providing quiet, emission-free driving. In addition, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, making it one of the fastest vehicles in its category. The battery can be fully charged in under 3 hours, ensuring a quick return to action.

Off-road performance

Thanks to its hybrid technology, it can operate with all-wheel drive in fully electric mode, earning it the ‘Trail Rated’ badge from Jeep, a designation that ensures the vehicle can overcome difficult obstacles and terrain with ease.

Depending on the equipment level, the Wrangler 4xe offers two permanently active on-demand all-wheel drive systems: Selec-Trac and Rock-Trac. These systems, together with the latest-generation Dana axles, the Tru-Lok electric locking of the front and rear axles, the Trac-Lok limited-slip differential and the electronic disconnect of the front anti-roll bar, are some of the most outstanding features of this model’s off-road equipment.

The Wrangler 4xe’s plug-in hybrid technology not only improves its performance but also significantly reduces its environmental impact. In hybrid mode, fuel consumption is around 3.5 litres per 100 km, and CO2 emissions are nearly 70% lower than those of the petrol version, according to the WLTP cycle.

The new Wrangler 4xe is available in two equipment levels: Sahara 4xe and Rubicon 4xe. Each of these levels offers specific features and finishes that allow drivers to personalise their vehicle according to their preferences and needs. The specific 17″ alloy wheels (43.2 cm) and 18″ (45.7 cm) add a distinctive touch to its rugged appearance.

In addition, Jeep offers a palette of ten exterior colours for the Wrangler 4xe, including classics such as Black and Bright White, and new shades such as Hydro Blue, Snazzberry and Sarge Green.
