The JukeCam, an option for your Nissan Juke and for adventure sports
The compact “crossover” from Nissan offers a 360º camera that can be used both on the dashboard and on a helmet while practising action sports

Owners of a crossover such as the Nissan Juke may not only enjoy driving their car on roads and city streets. A car of this kind is also able to tackle more demanding terrain, requiring more capabilities than a car designed solely for the road. And that can go hand in hand with taking part in some adventure sport. So, to combine both hobbies perfectly, Nissan has presented a 360º camera that mounts on the dashboard and offers more functions.
In fact, this JukeCam can not only serve as a dashboard camera, recording everything that happens while we drive, but can also be fitted to a helmet of the kind used for action sports such as pogo jumping. The mount allows it to stay placed on the Juke’s dashboard as well as withstand everything we put it through while practising these sports.

The camera has been designed by Nissan in collaboration with 360fly, a company specialising in the manufacture of 360º cameras, which guarantees the quality and functionality of the recording equipment. Installed on the dashboard, it allows continuous recording of up to 3 hours, so it can capture everything that happens in front of the car on a normal journey. It can also record the same length of time away from the dashboard, which makes it ideal to take along when the driver goes off to practise their favourite sport.
To test it, a promotional stunt was prepared, which also managed to set a Guinness World Record. It involved using a jumper to fly over three Nissan Juke cars, making only one bounce between each one to achieve it. The stunt took place in Paris and was filmed to demonstrate that the same camera can work just as well on the car as on the jumper.
Nissan has used on-board cameras in its models since 2010, when it first fitted a rear camera. It has now installed 500,000 units in its models. The 360º image technology has been used in Nissan models since 2012
