The Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato makes its debut at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Coachbuilder Zagato, in collaboration with the Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini, has created a very special model.
It is the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato, a highly exclusive edition based on the Gallardo 570-4 and intended for collectors.
The name of the model already gives us a clue as to the reason for this Lamborghini, since in 2014 Zagato celebrates its 95th birthday, and to mark the occasion it has decided to create this sports car with a very personal style.
The design of the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato is remarkably distinctive. Nothing else looks like it, and it is easily told apart from any other supercar. It is true that it retains the DNA of the Italian coachbuilder, with details that recall earlier Zagato models.

The Lamborghini has lost all its right angles, edges and sharp planes. It now has a much more rounded design, featuring a glass surface that wraps around the entire vehicle, creating a sense of continuity.
The nose is now less flat, retaining large air intakes (necessary to cool the enormous V10 engine that powers this Zagato). The rear has changed completely, with light clusters adopting circular shapes, a more discreet diffuser, and an exhaust system with four outlets reminiscent of the one used on the Raptor of 1996, a concept created by Zagato.

Initially, only one unit is planned for construction, built specifically for a car collector named Albert Spiess. He will therefore be the only person able to enjoy this work of art on wheels.
