Lamborghini Curiosities Geneva Motor Show Supercars
The Lamborghini 50th Anniversary will be the fastest in the brand's history
Lamborghini will bring to the Geneva Motor Show a new model set to be the fastest supercar in the brand’s history. It will be a limited edition of no more than ten units and will feature less weight and more power than the Aventador.

Fifty years ago, Ferruccio Lamborghini founded one of the most famous car factories of all time in a small town in Italy. The brand’s reputation is due not only to the beauty, exclusivity and prices of its vehicles, but to the ferocity, power and speed they have shown throughout this half century. A reputation earned through hard work.
To celebrate this commemorative date, Lamborghini has decided to present live at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show its fastest vehicle to date, a supercar full of carbon fibre and power, a vehicle capable of rivalling McLaren and Ferrari, a car capable of embodying the brand’s three values: handling, acceleration and top speed. A Lamborghini.
Filippo Perini, design director, stated that it will be sold, just like the Lamborghini Reventón, in a very limited edition, so much so that they doubt it will exceed ten units. Perini also said: “we want to surprise the world with this car”, something that, if achieved, will be because it truly is. It is not easy to compete at the same event with gems such as the F150 or the P1.
As far as we have been able to learn, it will not be a supercar that starts from a completely new platform, so we assume it will borrow elements from the Aventador if it is a V12 or from the Gallardo if it is a V10.
In a few days we will have our answers.
