The Lamborghini Aventador vs the F-16 Falcon in video

There are times when the world’s best supercars are no match for other four-wheeled vehicles; sometimes they need to face the very best of the best: fighter jets. Some time ago we saw how, on Top Gear, Richard Hammond drove the all-powerful Bugatti Veyron to try to beat a Eurofighter. Today they pit the latest machine from Lamborghini against the king of the skies, the F-16 Falcon.

It is always entertaining to watch two high-performance machines battling head to head. Will the 2.9 seconds the supercar takes to reach 100 km/h be enough? And what about its top speed of 350 km/h? Will the Aventador LP-700-4 win the title of king of the road? You can see the result below.

Before watching the video, a reminder that the Italian car has a 6.5-litre V12 engine capable of sending 700 CV to its four wheels, while the F-16 Falcon generates a staggering 144.6 kN in its latest variant.
