The M11 Rally was presented in Moscow

It is a curious initiative from Chery, presenting the M11 Rally, an M11 adapted and prepared for Group N. The Chinese group has already had other forays into the world of competition, if we count its entry into the Chinese rally championship.

The truth is that not much is known about this M11, only that it still uses the standard engine, the 1.6-litre unit, which is not exactly lively, with 117 CV. Externally, the degree of preparation the M11 has reached can be seen, although it is quite basic.

The idea is for Chery to take part in Russian rally competitions (Group 2000N). Sergei Bakulin himself, head of Chery in Russia, presented the car saying that “we still have to work on losing weight and improving the chassis”. It is not yet known whether Chery will produce a road model or a sportier line based on this car.
