The M division of BMW has published images of a BMW M5 convertible E34 that never saw the light of day. Those were certainly different times, because many projects that would never have been given the M badge, such as an M SUV, ended up becoming reality.

In fact, the closest current model to this M5 convertible would be the BMW M6 Cabrio, which is a real success for the brand. This M5 E34 was presented during the celebration of the M5’s 25th anniversary, equipped with the six-cylinder, 3.5-litre engine that delivered 315 CV.
