The Maserati GranTurismo Sport is unveiled in Madrid
Ainoha Arbizu presented the new Maserati GranTurismo Sport in Madrid on the tenth of last month. Among other things, it will feature a powerful 4.7-litre V8 producing 460 CV and 520 Nm of torque.

On October 10th, the new Maserati GranTurismo Sport was unveiled at the premises of Tayre Madrid, the brand’s official dealership. First, Moisés González, the dealership’s owner, thanked the media in attendance and then welcomed Ainoha Urbizu, who introduced and showed the new GranTurismo Sport.
The journalist and presenter of Antena 3 Noticias Deportes outlined the car’s new features. Since its debut at the 2008 Geneva Show, the sports car has reached a total of 15,000 units sold worldwide. What’s more, in 2011 the 2,700 units sold accounted for 44% of the Italian firm’s sales.

The GranTurismo Sport will be powered by a 4,700 cc V8 engine, which delivers 520 Nm of torque alongside a power output of, “not bad at all,” 460 CV. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. It will be available in two versions: one with the MC Shift electro-actuated six-speed manual gearbox, while the other will feature the ZF six-speed automatic gearbox with MC Auto Shift software.
Prices, as expected, will be quite high. The manual version will be available from €144,422, while the automatic version will cost a little more, with a starting price of €150,699.
