The Mazda 2 achieves the 5 Euro NCAP stars for adult occupant safety
The small Mazda 2 has achieved the highest score in the adult occupant safety tests carried out by Euro NCAP, 5 stars, thus becoming one of the best in its segment when it comes to safety.
It has achieved 34 points for adult occupant protection and 37 points for child occupant protection, which is not bad at all; as for pedestrian safety, the Mazda 2 has scored 18 points and two stars. All of this is, according to what I read in the Mazda press release, thanks to its feather-light weight and its robust chassis.
In short, considering that these good results are increasingly achieved in smaller segments and at lower prices, it is further news that guarantees the effectiveness of modern designs compared with their predecessors, regardless of the car or brand in question; because safety should not have a price.
