Mazda has begun the marketing of the most sporty and radical Mazda3, the Mazda3 MPS is now available at Spanish dealerships. Compared with the previous generation, there are quite a few changes in the design and equipment of the new Mazda3 MPS.

Its main selling point is a 2.3-litre turbocharged engine producing 260 CV, with interesting performance. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, all with a homologated average consumption of 9.6 l/100 km.

The starting price is 31,570 euros, including a complete standard equipment list, among which we find items such as: ABS + EBD, DSC + TCS, front, side and curtain airbags, xenon headlights, headlight washers, adaptive headlights, unintentional lane-departure warning (RVM), emergency stop signal (ESS), limited-slip differential, SAP exterior sport kit, automatic climate control, MID multi-function display, navigation system or BOSE audio system, among other features.

The Mazda3 MPS is a direct rival of the Seat Leon Cupra R, and now has a launch promotion of 2,000 euros, so the final price would be around 29,570 euros, a very attractive price given the performance and equipment of the car.
