Lotus announces the limited "Club Racer" edition for the Elise

As a novelty at the Lotus stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which opens in mid-September, there will be a new special edition of the Elise, based on the “S” trim with 134 CV, named “Club Racer“. With it, the English manufacturer revives colours used on the 1960s Elan and Elite, as well as adding a new exclusive interior trim and other modifications.
Outside, the Elise Club Racer can be ordered in four specific colours: Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White. It also features six-spoke lightweight alloy wheels painted in anthracite black and fitted with Yokohama AD07 LTS tyres. As for the cabin, the standout is the two-tone colour scheme on the upper part of the doors, seat edges (which have been covered in lightweight microfibre cushions) and transmission tunnel, which combines the same colour as the bodywork with black and silver.

Additionally, exclusive to the Club Racer edition are the aluminium foot mats, the gear lever and handbrake lever painted in anthracite black, the “CR” logo on the seat headrests and beneath the gear lever, and the grey steering wheel marker that tells the driver when the wheels are straight.
Beyond these details, the figures remain at a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 6.1 seconds, an average consumption of 7.6 litres per 100 kilometres and CO2 emissions of 179 grams per kilometre. The Elise Club Racer will go on sale on 15 September, coinciding with its presentation in Frankfurt, priced at €27,822 excluding taxes.
